Aroma: Very sweet, herbaceous, hay-like, honeyed aroma with a smoky tobacco and musk-like undertone

Its Latin name means ‘golden sun of Italy.’ One could very much picture Russell Crowe's hands brushing over bright maize-colored meadows of Helichrysum.

When cut and dried, the plant keeps bright and keeps its shape, appearing to still be living when they are closer to frozen in time. In this dried state, the plant is called "immortal" or "everlasting," in French, Immortelle.

Although part of the daisy family, Helichrysum is sometimes called the "curry plant," because of the color and smell of its leaves. Our goods come from the flower parts, fear not.

The Absolute of Immortelle has warm and somewhat woody notes of tobacco, tea, liqueur, and adds an interesting bright depth to blends. It smells strong and a bit musty straight out of the bottle, but once warmed up and on the skin it becomes more honeyed, waxy, almost more human...
