For the turn of countless seasons, Gaardians have dreamed a dream of beard butter, scented in the seasons as is the way of the goods of the Apothecary of Beardsgaard, and they have often spoken of those dreams to us.
We have always replied with: "No, are you nuts? Do you know how labor intensive that stuff is to make?!" But then a whisper on the breeze spoke, "Aye, but what if you did a one-off sorta thing? We can do a limited edition single seasonal run, surely." At which point the gremlins that run our meat suits shouted, "AND CANDLES!"
So here we are. Each season we will launch a new scent for a new season, but Mossmoor is the first.

MOSSMOOR IS...Day breaking over mist-painted moors, earth underfoot ever softening in the morning rain. In the rocky hollows, verdant lichens cling to cool stone, shaded by unfurling emerald ferns.
The Lore: In the Realm, the well-trodden paths of the Arrows of Agor in Midgard's northwest bring travelers and trade through foothill passes amongst mossy old oaks, steps brushed by lacy ferns on their journeys from the elven lands to the kingdom of the Dwarves and beyond.

The Product: The best part of these candles is a tie between the scents themselves (imagined so many years ago, and now finally realized) and the spiral wooden wick that crackles so delightfully.
The second (third?) best part is that after you burn your candle, the hot wax wipes then washes out easily, and the vessel is reusable as a mug, a planter, or a holder of whatever random treasure you need it to hold.
